Huawei MateView GT’s best-of-its-kind curved screen is already in the works…

Huawei MateView GT’s best-of-its-kind display is now also available on the Slovenian market. They are distinguished by their modern appearance, indisputable quality, the latest technology, reliability and a recommended price of 569 euros.

Curved screen for an in-depth visual experience

In an effort to provide users with the best that modern technology can offer, Huawei has unveiled a screen with an 87 cm (34 inch) curved 165 Hz display that takes the user experience to a whole new level.

The MateView GT is Huawei’s first curved screen with an aspect ratio of 21:9 and a high resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels. Adapted for both gaming and creative work, such as graphic design or video editing, the display supports the DCI-P3 color space and is professionally calibrated to deliver accurate colours. Thus, the Delta E value is less than 2. Moreover, the brightness of the screen is 350 nits, which is enough for a contrast ratio of 4000: 1. Realistic image display is also supported by the high definition standard HDR 10.

Smooth viewing thanks to a quick update

The fast refresh is perhaps the most important feature of this versatile display, so Huawei has built a 165Hz refresh rate into the MateView GT. This not only provides a smoother and clearer picture, but also reduces the possibility of vision damage.

The screen is equipped with a dark field control function, which allows faster detection by adjusting the brightness of the floor and illuminated scenes. One such example is the perception of opponents in video games. It also has the Crosshairs feature which is specially designed for First Person Shooting (FPS) games.

MateView GT offers great gaming and entertainment capabilities. Below the bottom edge is a five-way joystick for working with the on-screen menu, and the screen is TÜV Rheinland certified to efficiently filter blue light and reduce flicker. Both are harmful to the eyes.

Wide applicability

The Huawei MateView GT display is also equipped with a wide range of connectors. There is a 3.5 mm headphone jack, two HDMI 2.0 ports, a 1.4 DisplayPort connector, a USB Type-C port for charging devices, and another universal USB Type-C port, which is unique in this category of devices.

The new monitor will be available in Slovenia from December 13 at select partners at the recommended price of €569.

In addition to the high-end display, Huawei recently unveiled a number of other great devices that together form a unique ecosystem. First, the new Huawei 9 smartphones, with a suggested retail price of 499 euros, and the new Huawei 8 i for 349 euros. Their perfect companion is the premium and versatile Huawei Watch GT 3 smartwatch, which has exceptional battery life. There are two versions available, the larger with a diameter of 46 and the smaller with a diameter of 42 mm. Then there’s the new MateBook 14s laptop, which boasts a great screen, performance, ultra-portable design, and long battery life.
