Intel finally officially released its highly anticipated Alder Lake-based processor cores in early November. These are the first Intel processors to be built on a 10nm technology called “SuperFin”. This is actually the 12th generation of Intel processors, and they are much more powerful compared to their predecessors.
The first tests conducted with the new Intel Alder Lake processors surprised even the greatest connoisseurs. The new processors offer up to 20% more performance compared to current processors equipped with Tiger Lake (Willow Cove 10nm) cores. In addition, the new Intel processors are very energy efficient, consuming up to 15% less power at full load than their predecessors. It’s even better than AMD Ryzen processors.
So it’s no surprise that new processors are being put up for sale as a bet. A recent survey by an analyst firm shows that Intel Alder Lake processors are being sold as a bet. In just one month, they exceeded 30 percent of total processor sales, which surprised even the largest experts. Among the best, the Core i7-12700K processor is by far the best.
Although the new Intel processors still have a long way to go, experts are confident in their success. It offers an excellent price-performance ratio. So, it’s probably only a matter of time before they take the initiative and make it very difficult to sell AMD’s Ryzen processors.
