5 Android Apps You Shouldn’t Miss This Week

We have decided to bring you 5 new mobile apps and games every week, with which we will make sure that you are up to date with the latest in Android software development. This time we chose three apps and two games.

Hey shouted

Complimentary

HeyPal has a similar foundation to the Tandem and HelloTalk apps. Using it, you can practice your foreign language skills by speaking to native speakers through the app. Most of the features revolve around this main idea. Connect with a native speaker, practice what you know, and it can help you correct your grammar and vocabulary.

Since the app is text-based, it also includes translation and debugging. There is also an element of social media where you can make friends with people and talk to the same people over and over again. You can also read their status updates to help you understand the language better. The idea is a good time but it will show if it will last at all.

Hatsune Miku: Colorful Theater

Complimentary

Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage is a rhythmic play about one of Japan’s most famous singers. The basic controls are relatively simple, as you simply tap, hold, and move the different notes to keep the song going. There is also a story, five difficulty levels, a cooperation mode, and a virtual show mode where you can watch other players’ performances. There is a “gacha” system in the game, which allows the creators of the game the most profit. However, this does not diminish the enjoyment of the game. Sure, the game has occasional bugs reported by other players, but it didn’t detect any bugs during testing on the Android Authority portal.

Plan

Complimentary

Plans is an event calendar and planner. It helps you to organize meetings, parties and similar things. The app can make your life easier by sending notifications, showing you nearby places to organize events, and an integrated calendar that keeps track of your entire organization. The app appears to be more suitable for occasional big events than monitoring everyday life.

This is something that you can use for weddings, business parties, and the like. In any case, according to the tests, the features of the application work very well and cope decently if you want to plan an evening party with friends, but not so important.

Fantasy Live Online

Complimentary

Fantasy Life Online is a free mobile version of the popular Level 5 console game from a few years ago. It keeps a lot of the mechanics out of the game, but also adds the “gacha” element. The game includes 12 different lives that you can live, the usual RPG progression by unlocking and mastering new skills, plus you can design and build your own village that other players will be able to visit.

The combat mechanics are nothing special, but they are not difficult to learn and use. You can even reset and rotate your first character as many times as you want, in just a few minutes. The game has some downsides and is moderately friendly to free players. Otherwise, it’s a good RPG with some good mechanics.

ether

Complimentary

AetherSX2 is a PlayStation 2 emulator. It is now available for testing in the Play Store as an early version app. The developers recommend at least Snapdragon 845 or better, and more details about the requirements can be found in the Play Store.

Otherwise it works like most emulators. Get the ROM, load it into the emulator and play the game. Some of the features include upscaling the resolution to 1080p or higher, hardware controller support, and the ability to change app settings for each game individually to find the best combination of performance and appearance. This is an early release and definitely contains bugs, so let the developer know any bugs found so the app can continue to improve.
