Nvidia GeForce RTX 3000 family graphics cards are very popular among laptop users. However, since they are too expensive for many, Nvidia will soon launch a whole new family of graphics cards for laptops. This will be a Geforce RTX 2050 mobile graphics card, which, intriguingly, will be based on a Geforce RTX 3050 graphics core.
The relatively powerful GeForce RTX 2050 graphics card will be based on an Nvidia Ampera graphics core. This means that it will be equipped with 2048 CUDA processors. There will be four gigabytes of GDDR6 graphics memory and a 64-bit data interface, which means we’ll be able to play more graphics-intensive games with it. The power consumption will be about 45 watts. This means that the novelty will not unnecessarily affect the independence of the laptop.
The first laptops with a GeForce RTX 2050 graphics card will appear on the market in the spring of 2022. Fortunately, they will not be very expensive. It is expected that the price of the entry-level version of this type of laptop will reach about 500 euros in the United States.
