Apple developers are developing the iOS 16 operating system for mobile devices at an accelerated pace, which, of course, will be intended for iPhone smartphones. In addition, they are preparing the new iPadOS 16, which will be intended for tablets. Although the innovations won’t be presented until WWDC in June 2022, there is already talk online about which hardware they will be compatible with.
If online rumors are likely, you will need to at least install an Apple A10 processor to install iOS 16 or iPadOS 16 mobile operating system. Practically speaking, this means that iOS 16 will not be able to install on iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and the first iPhone SE. With regard to tablets, the new mobile operating system iPadOS 16 will not be installed on the iPad mini 4, iPad Air 2, iPad (5th generation) and iPad Pro 2015. This will deprive users of new capabilities.
The new mobile operating systems iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 are expected to be available via the OTA (over the air) upgrade system, and can be installed by all users of the latest Apple mobile devices. The device itself will inform us about the availability of the upgrade, and the battery will need to be charged at least 50 percent or connected to a charger before doing the upgrade, otherwise the update will not install. More will be known about the new arrivals in the next few months.
