A survey conducted by the online portal TorrentFreak found that online hackers were very excited about series this year, which we can call new films. The ten most pirated series have been illegally downloaded to tens of millions of users. Online piracy is expected to cause a net loss of tens of billions of euros for the film industry, although expert opinions on the harms and benefits of piracy remain broadly divided.
According to research by the web portal TorrentFreak, the Wandavision series or series from the Disney+ platform was loved by pirates the most. It was closely followed by the series Loki (Disney +), and in third place was the series The Witcher (Netflix). In fourth and fifth places came The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (Disney +) and Hawkeye (Disney +).
To the tenth place among the most pirated series in 2021, we found what if…? (Disney +), Foundation (Apple TV +), Rick and Morty (Netflix), Arcane (Netflix), Wheel of Time (Prime Video). TorrentFreak researchers also found that the number of illegally downloaded Torrent movies decreased slightly compared to the previous year. This is not surprising, since more and more individuals are swearing according to the content of legal broadcasts.
