Today, it is difficult to imagine life without a smartphone. Namely, we use it for work and for short periods of time. More and more people are using the phone to play games, so it’s no surprise that these games are becoming more and more interesting for game makers as well. The alliance between Samsung and AMD also demonstrated the fact that mobile devices are the real future of gaming, which was completed in mid-2021.
Samsung and AMD have already developed a new generation of mobile graphics cards, which are expected to be more powerful compared to existing solutions. This is supposed to be integrated into the Samsung Exynos 2200 mobile processor, the graphics core will be based on the RDNA2 architecture, while the classic Cortex A77 will be used. As the Samsung Exynos 2200 mobile processor will be built using 4nm technology, it will also save energy.
The new Samsung Exynos 2200 processor is likely to be presented alongside Samsung S22 smartphones. It is expected to be in direct competition with the high-performance Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processors and MediaTek Dimensity 9000. The novelty will be equipped with eight cores, with the Cortex-X2 core being the most powerful. In addition, three Cortex-A710 cores will be available for the most demanding tasks and four Cortex-A510 energy-efficient cores. More will be known in January 2022.
