Flexible or foldable smartphones have aroused great interest among mobile phone users. This also applies to the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G smartphones, which Samsung revealed to the public at the end of September last year. These are the smartphones that are light years ahead. These set new standards in business use of the phone for multitasking, presentation and speed of work, as well as enjoyment of watching series and matches, playing games and listening to music.
Although the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G smartphones are quite expensive, they easily attracted mobile enthusiasts. Samsung announced that it sold four times more foldable phones in 2021 than in 2020, thanks to new phones from the Z Fold and Z Flip families. By doing so, Samsung exceeded three times the market growth that analysts had expected.
Samsung is expected to control a total of 88 percent of all foldable phones in the global market with foldable smartphones. Although the computer giant has not revealed how many foldable phones it has actually sold, experts are convinced that the number is around 10 million. Samsung expects sales figures to increase 10 times by 2023. This is a very ambitious plan, but it has every chance of success in reality.
