Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones have been with us for quite some time now. There is no doubt that the newcomers are mainly impressed by their appearance. These are basically exactly the same, except that the Pro version is for photography lovers. It has a 4x optical zoom camera and a larger image sensor for better quality photos. Both newcomers are powered by Google’s own Tensor processor.
With the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones going on sale, Google engineers are already a successor to it. Here, of course, we are talking about the Pixel 7 smartphone. It is supposed to bring a good number of new technologies, among them the most innovative display that should be highlighted. If Google engineers apply the recently obtained patent, the front webcam will be right under the screen.
The screen of the upcoming Pixel 7 smartphone will actually be designed in such a way that it will direct external light to the webcam sensor and other sensors with the help of a special design. In practice, this means that the user will always have a full screen for viewing images, that is, without annoying notches and holes. However, since this is just a patent, it is not yet known whether the upcoming smartphone will actually be equipped with an innovative display. However, if this were indeed the case, it would undoubtedly be an interesting device.
