Intel revealed, in the second half of August 2021, that it is preparing a special family of graphics cards that will also be used in playing computer games, and the computer giant will market it under the name Arc. According to the latest rumors, Intel Arc standalone graphics cards are expected to hit the market in March 2022. The first laptop equipped with a new one is the new Acer Swift X.
With a dedicated Intel Arc graphics card, Acer has equipped the Swift X laptop with a 40.6 cm or 16-inch screen with a resolution of 2,240 x 1,400 pixels. Of course, we can also find a powerful 12th generation Intel processor and LPDDR5 system memory with a total capacity of 16 GB. Up to 2TB of space will be available for data storage, in the form of a solid state drive.
The interesting laptop Acer Swift X will also be equipped with a wide range of connectors, interfaces and connections. Among them, we will find USB Type-C with Thunderbolt 4 support (up to 40Gbps), two USB 3.2 Type-A Gen 1 ports and an HDMI 2.0 video output. Here, of course, attention will be paid to the optimal cooling of the machine components. The novelty is expected to hit store shelves soon. This probably won’t be entirely cheap.
