Netflix is undoubtedly one of the most popular services in the world, with a total number of users of these services over 210 million. This, of course, is also available on Slovenian territory. Although the company generated up to 6.6 billion euros in revenue in the third quarter of last year, the leaders decided to increase the price of the monthly packages.
The monthly subscription in the US for Netflix increased on average between 88 cents recalculated and 1.75 euros recalculated. From now on, Americans will have to deduct €8.77 recalculated per month for the Netflix BASE entry package. The average Netflix STANDARD package rose to 13.6 euros, while the more expensive Netflix PREMIUM rose to 17.5 euros.
The price increase has not yet reached Slovenian Netflix users. However, experts are confident that this will happen sooner or later. In Slovenia, the Netflix BASE entry package should cost €9.99 per month instead of €7.99. The medium Netflix STANDARD package could go up to 15.8 euros from the current 12.99 euros, while the most expensive Netflix PREMIUM will be 19.99 euros instead of 17.99 euros. It is not yet known when the price increase will actually occur.
