Today, it is difficult to imagine life without a smartphone. Namely, we use this for work and for short periods of time. More and more people are using the phone to play games, so it’s no surprise that these games are becoming more and more interesting for game makers as well. The alliance between Samsung and AMD also demonstrated the fact that mobile devices are the real future of gaming, which was completed in mid-2021.
Samsung and AMD have already developed a next-generation mobile graphics core that is expected to be much more powerful than current solutions. The Xclipse 920 core has now finally been integrated into the recently introduced Samsung Exynos 2200 processor. The graphics core is based on the RDNA2 architecture, which is extremely powerful and will surely cope with the most demanding graphics tasks.
The Samsung Exynos 2200 mobile processor uses a high-performance Cortex-X2 graphics core, three Cortex-A710 cores with an optimal power-to-power ratio, and four ARM Cortex A510 energy-saving cores for data conversion. The novelty also supports image sensors with a detection rate of 200 megapixels and HDR + screens with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. We also find a 5G modem here.
Samsung has already started mass production of the Exynos 2200 processor. It is not yet known which smartphones will be equipped with it. The Samsung Galaxy S22 family of smartphones, which is expected to be presented to the public soon, will certainly be equipped with it.
