For those of you who spend a lot of time on the way to work every day, the idea of doing it in minutes is invaluable. Can you imagine? No traffic jams, no train delays, and no more cold at bus stops. Just what could be better? All this was promised by about 100 companies engaged in the development of electric transport “Vertical Take-off and Landing” (eVTOL).
The Slovak company Klein Vision has achieved particular success in developing flying cars. AirCar, a hybrid car between a sports car and an airplane, has been licensed to fly in Slovakia. The novelty is powered by an internal combustion engine, but it can be “transferred” from a road car to a flying ship in just two minutes.
The AirCar performed more than excellent during the testing period. Namely, it has made a total of more than 70 flying hours, more than 200 take-offs and landings, and even a 35-minute flight. The AirCar will certainly simplify many of our tasks, as it can carry up to two people and can reach speeds of more than 160 kilometers per hour at an altitude of more than 2500 meters. At the moment, unfortunately, there is no information about when the novelty will actually be available for free sale to ordinary users.
