Rumors about the long-awaited Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphone have resurfaced online. The new is expected to be officially presented on February 8, as part of a special conference called “Unpacked”. Without a doubt, it will be a very powerful smartphone, which will be on top of the desires of the most demanding mobile users.
It seems that the Samsung Galaxy S22 family of smartphones is based on the first-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 mobile processor. The novelty will be based on an ARM Cortex-X1 processor core, which is manufactured using 4nm technology. A completely new graphics core – Adreno 730 is also expected. With the newcomer, we will be able to run even the most graphically demanding mobile games with ease. Certain models will be powered by the Samsung Exynos 2200 processor, which uses a high-performance Cortex-X2 graphics core to transform data. The graphics core is based on the RDNA2 architecture, which will certainly cope with the most demanding graphics tasks.
As we are already used to, Samsung is expected to offer three new models for sale, namely Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 + and Galaxy S22 Ultra. The design itself will be very similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy S21, with the bezels around the screen being virtually invisible. The charging speed of the built-in battery should remain limited to 25 watts. High-quality image sensors with a resolution of up to 50 megapixels are likely to be available to capture high-quality images. The Galaxy S22 Ultra will of course have digital stylus support, which of course will simplify many tasks.
