As we have written many times so far, the situation with regard to graphics cards is currently very bad, not only in our country, but throughout the world. And if you were hoping that this year the clouds will finally dissipate and we can buy a graphics card at the regular price, unfortunately that will not be the case. On top of that, Nvidia has quietly raised the price of all Founders Edition graphics cards, from the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti to the RTX 3090.
Nvidia raised the price of GeForce RTX 3000 Founders Edition graphics cards by up to 100 euros. On average, graphics cards increased from 2% for the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti to 6.5% for the GeForce RTX 3090. In practice, this means that we will have to pay an additional 10 euros for the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (439 euros). instead of €429), and for the GeForce RTX 3090 €1649 instead of €1549. This means that we will have to charge up to an additional 100 euros for the most expensive model.
At Nvidia, higher prices can only be justified by the difference in the exchange rate between the dollar and the euro. This means that higher prices should not be the result of an excess of supply over demand. This is expected to remain the case even after a price increase by Nvidia. GeForce RTX 3000 Founders Edition graphics cards are all sold out. The situation in this area is expected to improve only at the end of this year.
