Good news for owners of Microsoft Surface Duo phones!

One year ago, Microsoft presented a very interesting smartphone Surface Duo for sale. Despite its high price, the convertible smartphone has convinced many demanding users. It uses two 14.2 cm and 5.6 inch screens to display images. The screen can be rotated up to 360 degrees, which means it can be used as a classic smartphone as well as a tablet or even an advanced e-book. When the device is fully opened, the user has a screen with a diagonal of 20.6 cm or 8.1 inches, a resolution of 2700 x 1800 pixels and an aspect ratio of 3 to 2.

The Microsoft Surface Duo smartphone is also equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 mobile processor, six or eight GB of system memory and up to 256 GB of onboard storage (the most powerful version). The new battery has a capacity of 3,577 mAh, which will be charged via USB-C. The new product also supports 4G / LTE wireless and Wi-Fi 5 e Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity, so we definitely won’t have any connection problems. Now, however, Android 11 is finally available for it.

Android 11 is expected to be available to Microsoft Surface Duo smartphone users via the OTA (over the air) upgrade system. The device will notify you when an upgrade is available. You can also check if the update is available yourself in Settings. Although it has been several months since the official announcement of the Android 12 operating system, we believe that users of the Microsoft Surface Duo phone with Android 11 will be more than satisfied.
