One of the more well-established camera and camera test portals, DxOMark, has published a comprehensive camera test of the Huawei P50 Pro smartphone, with a score of 144. With this said, it has swung to the top of the most credible internet portals to test the photography capabilities of smartphones.
With the Huawei P50 Pro smartphone, they introduce the first dual-matrix camera system that includes a color (RGB) lens, a monochromatic lens and a multispectral illumination sensor. Thanks to True-Chroma Shot and XD Fusion Pro technologies with a new Super Color filter, True-Chroma Image Engine and Super HDR, images are colorful and detailed even in low-light conditions and the best possible reproduction of what the human eye can see. The phone is equipped with a periscope lens with 3.5x optical zoom or 100x magnification, while the ultra-wide lens is equipped with stabilization technology, for easy capture of small or very distant objects in high definition. The Huawei P50 Pro smartphone also supports Huawei XD optics, which eliminates optical errors and restores details in photos.
The test consists of evaluating the performance of cameras during shooting and video recording. The P50 Pro smartphone scored 149 points for photography or 107 points for zoom, and they praised the wide dynamic range and low noise of the main and wide-angle camera. In addition, the photographic range has accurate and natural white balance and good detail in medium and far scenes in daylight. The phone also proved to be excellent in video capabilities. They score 116 points for that, and they particularly praise the accurate exposure, high dynamic range, and quality of detail in the room in daylight, and effective image stabilization.
