The new Intel Core i9-12900HK processor is better than the M1 Max processor?

Intel recently announced that it has built the fastest mobile processor ever. This, of course, is the processor for the Core i9-12900HK. Intel claims the new 129,000HK is 44 percent faster than last year’s 11900HK. But when it comes to handling larger tasks at the same time, including playing games, the processor is 20 to 30 percent faster.

Recent measurements using the Intel Core i9-12900HK processor show that the new product is faster than Apple’s M1 Max processor. The Intel Core i9-12900HK processor averaged 12,707 points in benchmarking software Geekbench 5, while the Apple M1 Max processor averaged 12,244 points. This means that the new Core i9-12900HK was four percent faster.

It is worth noting that the Intel Core i9-12900HK processor consumes much more power than the M1 Max processor from Apple. The powerful Intel processor can draw up to 100 watts of power at full load. Apple’s M1 Max processor is only 40 watts. This means that laptops with an Apple M1 Max processor will last longer on average on a single charge.
