Some time ago, AMD introduced the Ryzen family of 5,000 processors (Zen 3) for laptops. They brought about an increase in capacity compared to their predecessors, and significantly lower power consumption, which is reflected in the autonomy of longer computers. However, as the competition in laptop processors continues, it’s no surprise that AMD recently announced the arrival of a brand new family of laptop processors, the Ryzen 6000 Mobile.
Ryzen 6000 Mobile processors are based on Zen 3+ technology and engineered with six nanometer technology. Its frequency reaches five gigahertz. Embedded graphic RDNA2 with up to 12 processing units is responsible for transcoding the graphic content. To some extent, this is also powerful enough to run modern PC games. The most powerful representatives of the AMD Ryzen 6000 Mobile processors have eight physical cores and 16 virtual processors.
Of course, AMD Ryzen 6000 Mobile also provides support for modern technologies. Among them, it supports high-speed DDR5/LPDDR5 system memory, WiFi 6E DBS technology and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless technology. In addition, PCI Express 4.0 data bus support is available. The maximum power consumption is only 45 watts.
The first laptops equipped with the new AMD Ryzen 6000 Mobile processors will be available soon. This will be mainly for high-end laptops. Among the first, it will be offered for sale by companies such as Asus, Acer, Lenovo, Alienware and Razer.
