Gigabyte power supplies ready…

The new graphics cards, which will be on the market in the next few months, will perform much better. Among them, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 Ti graphics card is the first to go on sale. It will actually be able to reach up to 40 teraflops of power at full load.

Increased consumption and capacity, in turn, means that users will need to supply their monsters with a power supply of at least 1000 W (also dependent on the processor). It is therefore not surprising that Gigabyte is also developing a new family of power supplies for the UD1000GM PCIe 5.0 family. The novelty can produce up to 1,000 watts of electrical power at full load, which would be ideal for new graphics cards.

The main advantage of the Gigabyte UD1000GM PCIe 5.0 power supply is that it is already equipped with a connector for graphics cards with the PCIe 5.0 data bus. This is actually a connector marked 12VHPWR, which has a total of 16 contacts. At full load, it can deliver up to 600 watts of electrical power directly to the graphics card via a new connector.

The new Gigabyte UD1000GM PCIe 5.0 power supply is also equipped with four 8-foot PCIe interfaces, giving users maximum flexibility. Here we also find a 120 mm fan for quiet cooling of the power supply. Piko na i also awards 80 PLUS Gold certification and a 10-year warranty period. Unfortunately, Gigabyte has not yet revealed when the new product will be available and its retail price.
