Chromebooks will be in high demand in the future. Google recently announced more frequent system updates on a monthly basis. Valve is sure to contribute a lot to the popularity of Chrome OS. Namely, it has prepared a special version of Steam cloud service for Chrome OS.
The cloud gaming service Steam for Chrome OS means that we will soon be able to play slightly more advanced PC games on cheap PCs too. Unfortunately, the new version will not be able to work on all computers running Chrome OS. It must have 11th generation Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors and at least seven gigabytes of system memory.
Unfortunately, the list of Chromebooks that are compatible with the Steam cloud gaming service is relatively short. Namely, there are no systems equipped with ARM processors. There are currently six compatible laptops on the list, three Acer, two Asus, and one HP. However, experts are convinced that soon the list of compatible PCs will increase significantly.
