Some time ago, AMD launched the Ryzen 5000 family of processors, which are based on Zen 3 processor cores and can easily compete with Intel products. The new arrivals are manufactured with the help of improved 7nm technology, more precisely “7nm + EUV”, which has proven itself in the microprocessor field. Now, however, users of the workstations have accessed their accounts.
AMD has developed all-new Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5000WX processors for workstations. Newcomers, such as models of the Ryzen 5000 family, are based on Zen 3 processor cores. The most powerful model in the new family is the Ryzen Threadripper 5995WX. Use up to 64 physical cores or 128 virtual cores up to 4.5GHz to recalculate data. In addition, it supports a 4-channel DDR4-3200 system memory controller and of course the PCI Express 4.0 data bus.
The new AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5000WX processor has an L3 cache of 256MB. This will easily cope with the most demanding tasks. Electricity consumption will reach 280 watts. The first workstation to be equipped with the new AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5000WX processors will be the Lenovo P620. The novelty regarding the Nvidia RTX A6000 graphics card will be available from 3,099 euros (excluding taxes).
