Alibaba is one of the largest online stores in the world. The group was founded in 1999 when Jack Ma set up the website alibaba.com, which was for Chinese manufacturers doing business with overseas customers. The popular online store has been a huge success in business ever since. It is therefore not surprising that soon it will go on sale even its prestigious electric car, which will be equipped with the sales name IM L7.
The IM L7 electric car was developed for Alibaba by IM Motors. It is a joint venture between Alibaba and SAIC Motor, which was established this year. The Alibaba IM L7 electric car will impress without any problems, delivering 425 kW of power and 725 Nm of torque. It takes just 3.87 seconds from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour, which will put passengers in their seats. All this is made possible by powerful electric motors and a battery that should be enough for up to 615 km of autonomy (according to the NEDC standard).
Alibaba IM L7, of course, is equipped with a wide range of advanced systems. The entire device is powered by Nvidia Drive’s advanced computer system along with 15 video cameras, 12 sensors, five radar systems and a LiDAR system for light detection and object metering. They are claiming a €58,700 account for the best-in-class Alibaba IM L7 in China. It is not yet known whether the most interesting electric car will eventually be sold in the European market.
