Apple developed the innovative Studio Display for the most demanding businesses and users. This is a 27-inch or 68.6cm monitor with a thin aluminum chassis, support for 5K resolution, up to 600 threads of brightness, and support for a wide range of P3 colors and over a billion colors. The built-in stand allows the user to tilt the screen up to 30 degrees, and the screen also has a built-in Apple A13 Bionic chip, which takes care of advanced camera and audio functions. The Apple Studio Display has three USB-C ports and a Thunderbolt 4 connector that provides 96 watts of wattage to charge your MacBook Air or MacBook Pro.
Since the Studio Display is designed for companies and the most demanding users, it is not surprising that Apple equipped the new model with a high-quality 12-megapixel camera. Although the latter should provide a high-quality rendering of images, this is unfortunately not the case in practice. Specifically, users of new products report very poor quality, which is actually comparable to outdated video conferencing systems.
Apple has already confirmed the problem with the Studio Display webcam. Fortunately, the screen will not need to be replaced. Apple is supposed to solve the Studio Display webcam quality problems by upgrading the software. The patch is expected to be available for download soon.
