Telemach operator Telemach continues to accelerate the modernization of technical equipment and already has more than 1,000 base stations and other infrastructure in Slovenia to provide uninterrupted signal coverage.
Telemach is expanding the coverage of its own network throughout Slovenia, thus offering all users a reliable and high-quality user experience. As part of a multi-million dollar investment in equipment upgrade, Telemach will include more than 100 new base stations in 2022. The company is constantly investing in network coverage, modernizing and increasing coverage. Telemach has also been upgrading its own network for many years with a desire for nationwide coverage that allows users greater independence.
Telemach’s commitment to excellence will have a positive impact, especially on users who live in peripheral areas, as the operator will provide them with reliable network coverage with its own base stations and the consequent uninterrupted use of mobile devices in the Telemach network.
Zoran Vihovar, Telemach Board Member, who is responsible for the technology adds: “More than 1,000 base stations and hundreds of microcells and systems to provide indoor coverage prove that we are rapidly increasing Telemach signal coverage in Slovenia, thus striving to achieve our main goal, which is customer satisfaction. Their number continues to grow, and we’re still the fastest growing company in our country, which means we’re really on the right track. Of course, we do not stop and continue to build our own network at an accelerated pace, as we want to cover the whole of Slovenia with it as soon as possible. In this way, we will be able to provide services to every user with the best user experience. «
With a clear vision to provide the best user experience, Telemach has a market share of 24.18% in the mobile field and assures the users that it will provide them with quality services in all areas of communication. Their focus on customer satisfaction is also proven by Telemach’s awards for the fastest fixed and 5G network in Slovenia. The awards were introduced in February 2022 and are based on testing with the Ookla Speedtest® app, an independent and accurate method of obtaining data with more than 10 million tests used daily.
Telemach was the first company in Slovenia to offer a 5G user experience with speeds of up to 1Gbps last June, and it now offers 5G network in more than 50 places across Slovenia. The company, which is the leading provider of fixed broadband Internet and pay TV, and the fastest growing mobile operator in Slovenia, can be proud of its new generation GIGA network. It already covers more than 390,000 households and provides almost complete Internet access at speeds up to 1 Gbps, focusing on DOCSIS 3.1 and XGSPON technology, which will provide users with speeds up to 10 Gbps.
