The first laptop with a desktop…

For the most demanding users, Intel recently revealed the Alder Lake-HX family of processors. The fact that these processors are more powerful is already demonstrated by the fact that they consume up to 55 watts of electrical power at full load. That’s 10 watts more than Alder Lake-H family processors. New processors are equipped with up to 16 processor cores and 24 virtual cores, and when fully loaded they reach a frequency of up to five gigahertz. DDR4 and DDR5 system memory up to 128GB is also supported.

The first laptop with the new Intel Alder Lake-HX processors is Gigabyte’s AORUS 17X. This is a laptop, which, of course, will be designed to play the most demanding computer games. The novelty is based on the Intel Core i9-12900HX processor, which is equipped with 16 processor cores and 24 virtual cores (8P-core + 8E-Core). The high-end Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics card adds the finishing touch.

The Gigabyte AORUS 17X laptop is also equipped with a 17-inch (43.2 cm) screen. It can display images at up to 360 frames per second. Here you will find a rich set of advanced technologies such as PCI-E 5.0, WiFi 6E and Thunderbolt 4. The new product will go on sale soon, and the retail price of the novelty has not yet been revealed. However, given that the Gigabyte AORUS 17X will be equipped with the latest technology, it will certainly not be low.
