Very sexy pressed character…

The use of embedded personal computers, such as the Raspberry Pi, is gaining momentum. So it is not surprising that new producers are entering this field. Among them is FriendlyELEC, which recently introduced a very interesting computer system.

The Compact FriendlyELEC NanoPi R5S measures just 90 x 62mm in size. However, it is powered by a very interesting Rockchip RK3566 processor, which has four ARM Cortex-A55 energy-saving cores with a frequency of two GHz. There is also an integrated Mali-G52 graphics core that can play 1080p videos at 60 frames per second.

The FriendlyELEC NanoPi R5S also features 2 GB of LPDDR4x system memory and 8 GB of storage space. In addition, it includes an interface for M.2 2280 SSDs and a microSD memory card reader. As for the ports, it has interfaces like HDMI 2.0 port, USB 3.0 Type-A and many more.

The FriendlyELEC NanoPi R5S Compact PC is expected to go on sale before summer. It is not yet known how much will be charged for it, but it is likely that the novelty will be relatively cheap.
