At the end of 2020, AMD revealed its new Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards to the public, which was really something special. Based on the RDNA2 graphics core (Navi 21), they supported the revolutionary Infinity cache, which runs at 30 percent higher frequency and provided full compatibility with Microsoft’s DirectX Ultimate library.

Customers are particularly pleased with the Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card. It is based on the graphics core with the Navi 22 label. The AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card offers 40 compute units and 12 GB of GDDR6 graphics memory (192-bit bus). The RDNA 2 graphics core is manufactured using advanced 7nm technology, and a more modern PCI Express 4.0 data interface is available for connection to the motherboard. Although the Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card sold well, Sapphire decided on a feat.

Sapphire announced the arrival of a special graphics card with the sales name Radeon RX 6700. So without the XT, which has a more powerful model. The powerful Sapphire Radeon RX 6700 graphics card has a 2304 GPU (2560 on the 6700 XT) and 10 GB of 16Gbps GDDR6 system memory. The graphics core and graphics memory are communicated via a 160-bit bus.

The Sapphire Radeon RX 6700 graphics card draws up to 220W of power at full load. This means that it can be powered by a single 8-pin connector. However, the base operating frequency is up to 2495MHz in the initial mode. Unfortunately, the retail price of the Sapphire Radeon RX 6700 graphics card has not been revealed, at least for the time being.
