At the recent Computex 2022 technology conference, AMD finally revealed more detailed information about the processors that will revolutionize personal computing. These are the Ryzen 7000 Zen4 family processors, which will be available to PC users as early as this fall. Newcomers will bring a fair number of innovations and, according to experts, will easily oppose the processors of the competing company Intel.
AMD’s new Ryzen 7000 Zen4 family processors will be built using 5nm technology. In addition, it will provide support for both DDR5 system memory and PCI-E 5.0 data bus. In addition, the new AMD Ryzen 7000 Zen4 family processors will be the first to be equipped with an integrated graphics core based on the RDNA2 architecture. This means much higher graphics performance compared to current solutions.
So it is not surprising that Intel is already considering the 14th generation Core (Meteor Lake-S) processors, although the 13th generation (Raptor Lake-S) has not yet been officially announced. However, the latest information indicates that Intel will also introduce a new socket with its 14th generation Core processors. This will be the LGA 1815 socket, which will replace the current LGA 1700. Fortunately, this will be older socket compatible, meaning that n processors can be used on older motherboards. All you have to do is update the BIOS hardware code.
The 14th generation Intel processors will provide more performance. At the same time, they will reduce electricity consumption. More information about the new processors is expected in the coming months.
