MediaTek is gaining ground in the field of mobile processors powered by the Android operating system. This is mainly due to the quality of the products and the lower price compared to competitor Qualcomm. So it’s no surprise that MediaTek recently outperformed rival Qualcomm in terms of the number of mobile processors sold.
It seems that MediaTek will also dominate in 2022, having recently introduced a very interesting model of the Dimensity family of mobile processors. It is a Dimensity 9000+ processor, which is manufactured with the help of advanced 4nm technology. However, at least according to online rumors, it will be the first phone equipped with it iQOO 10 (Normal Edition and Pro Edition). The newcomers will go on sale in July this year, and their performance will also compete with phones in the higher price range.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ mobile processor provides eight processor cores for data conversion. Here, a powerful 3.2GHz ARM Cortex-X2 core, four power-efficient Cortex-A510 cores, and three processor cores are available here for typical ARM Cortex-A710 computing tasks. Combined with artificial intelligence, the extremely powerful integrated graphics core of the ARM Mali-G710MP10 MC10 is in line with the graphics content.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ mobile processor is expected to support 5G mobile networks and Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity. Of course, support for Bluetooth 5.2 wireless connectivity has been added here as well. In addition, it offers support for FullHD+ screens up to 180Hz and WQHD+ screens up to 144Hz. Of course, the novelty also supports LPDDR5X system memories and image sensors for digital cameras with a resolution of up to 320 million pixels.
