Global technology brand HONOR has unveiled details of its production line and unveiled the technology behind its high-end smartphone HONOR Magic4 Pro, which was entirely developed in the HONOR Smart Manufacturing Industrial Zone.

The HONOR Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, which opened in September 2021, is HONOR’s first fully independent factory. With each generation of smartphones, manufacturers try to move the receiver as far as possible to the upper edge of the screen, so that the phone has as large a screen as possible. However, the closer the receiver is to the edge of the screen, the more problems we have with sound dispersal during a call, which calls into question our privacy. That’s why the creators of the HONOR Magic4 Pro have added an all-new and revolutionary AI-powered privacy calling function. This ensures that the interlocutor is not heard by others in the room during the conversation, and for the benefit of users, since audio problems are often a users nightmare.
HONOR tackled this challenge by identifying and overcoming more than 100 technological challenges to create the aforementioned phone and creating an AI privacy call. Their R&D team and production team got together and found a solution within three months.
The result of joint work was the creation of a machine for automatic precision assembly, which, with computer vision and improved algorithms, achieves an accuracy of 0.01 mm with an efficiency of 99.99 percent.
HONOR Magic4 Pro is equipped with a powerful triple camera with super-computer photography (Superfusion computed imaging). To find a solution to such a complex challenge, twice the equipment was used to stabilize the camera as on some previous models. Combined with AI algorithms, Ultra-Fusion technology produces high-resolution images with stunning clarity, even when taken from a distance.
In the case of the HONOR Magic4 Pro model, advanced manufacturing processes are also included Quad curved LTPO screen. HONOR’s industrial zone consists of industry-leading laboratories, including a reliability laboratory, a regulatory laboratory and an environmental protection laboratory. With the help of this group of laboratories, they achieve the highest standards of material and product control. The park conducts nearly 200 of the most stringent tests on all materials received before production begins and dozens of product tests after production. The scope and frequency of inspections exceed normal industry practices, ensuring that HONOR products meet the most stringent self-imposed standards.
