New AMD Ryzen 7000 processors…

AMD has confirmed that the latest Ryzen 7000 family processors will definitely be available this fall. The first PCs equipped with it must be available before the start of the new school year. Immediately after that, it will be possible to buy Ryzen processors of the 7000 family without a prescription.

AMD’s new Ryzen 7000 (Zen4) family processors promise a lot, on paper at least. It will be manufactured using 5nm technology. In addition, they will provide support for both DDR5 system memory and the PCI-E 5.0 data bus. AMD’s new Ryzen 7000 Zen4 processors will be the first to feature an integrated graphics core based on the RDNA2 architecture. This means much greater graphics performance compared to current solutions and the ability to play simpler games.

Unfortunately, the interesting AMD processors of the Ryzen 7000 Zen4 family will not be compatible with existing solutions, since they will be equipped with a completely new base. It is an AM5 socket that will replace the current AM4 socket. The latter has become completely unsuitable or obsolete for modern challenges. The AM5 socket is actually an LGA socket with 1718 “pins”. This will ensure a more stable connection between the motherboard and the processor. This should achieve higher performance. The most powerful model is likely to be equipped with 16 processor cores, and when fully loaded, its frequency can reach 5.5 GHz.
