Powerful compact laptop…

MNT Research has presented a very interesting mini laptop that is completely different from the solutions currently on the market. The novelty uses the NXP i.MX 8M Plus processor to calculate the data. It is based on four ARM Cortex-A53 processor cores clocked at 1.8GHz.

The Pocket Reform mini laptop from MNT Research will be able to handle most everyday tasks. This includes taking notes, writing and reading emails, playing videos, listening to music, and playing simpler games. The four GB system memory and integrated Vivanta GC7000UL graphics card with machine learning also contribute to this.

A color-lit 60-key mechanical keyboard is available for data entry. There is also a 10mm touchpad with four buttons. 128 GB (NVMe SSD) is available for data storage, which can be expanded if necessary with a microSD memory card. For communications, there are Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connections. There is also a high-quality screen with a diagonal of 7 inches or 17.8 cm and a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.

The Pocket Reform Compact Laptop from MNT Research has a battery capacity of 8000 mAh for extended autonomy. The entire computer system is slightly thicker compared to the related solutions, measuring 20 x 11.5 x 4.6 cm. The Pocket Reform mini laptop is about to enter a beta period. However, it is not yet known when it will be available for sale.
