At the end of June of this year, the long-awaited Nvidia GeForce GTX 1630 graphics card was released.The new one is actually a response to the AMD Radeon RX 6400 graphics card, which is becoming increasingly popular among the least demanding game lovers. They offer a satisfactory ratio between price and performance. This is also quite true for the GeForce GTX 1630 graphics card, valued at around €143 in the US.

The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1630 graphics card is equipped with Nvidia TU117 graphics. It has 8 graphics processors and 512 CUDA cores available for data computation. In comparison, the GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card has 14 GPUs and 1024 CUDA cores. This effectively means that the new Nvidia GeForce GTX 1630 graphics card has 32% fewer CUDA cores. The core of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1630 graphics card calculates data at a frequency of up to 1800 MHz (depending on the manufacturer). In addition, there is another four GB of GDDR6 graphics memory at 12 Gbps. The data bus is limited to 64 bits. The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1630 graphics card does not require an external power supply, as it consumes only 75 watts of electrical power at full load.

In terms of performance, the new graphics card Nvidia GeForce GTX 1630 is comparable to the much cheaper GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, released in 2016. However, the novelty is equipped with more modern technologies, such as support for video standards VP8 and H.265 (HVEC). Therefore, the new GeForce GTX 1630 is actually a replacement for the already outdated GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.
