Crypto market movers and shakers from the top ten and beyond
It’s a mixed Tuesday session for the top ten cryptocurrencies.
XRP is on top with 120 minutes into the session (UTC), up 7.17%. Hope for a positive outcome in the SEC case against Ripple provided support.
However, it is a bearish session for the rest of the top ten, with ETH (-4.34%) leading the way lower.
ADA (-3.09%), BNB (-2.28%), BTC (-3.36%) and SOL (-3.21%) are also in deep red, while DOGE is down by only 0, 68%.
From CoinMarketCap Top 100, it was a mixed session.
It is led by Helium (HNT), XRP and Stellar (XLM). HNT is up 8.17%, with XRP and XLM up 7.17% and 6.24%, respectively.
However, Cosmos (ATOM) and ravencoin (RVN) are leading the way, with losses of 10.67% and 9.55%, respectively. ApeCoin (APE) is also struggling, dropping by 4.28%.
24-hour cryptocurrency liquidations dip in bearish session
Over the 24-hour period, the total liquidation fell amid mounting concerns ahead of the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy decision on Wednesday.
At the time of writing, 24 hour liquidations are $121.53 million, down from $292.44 million Tuesday morning.
Traders who were liquidated in the last 24 hours also declined. At the time of writing, 37,436 traders had their accounts liquidated compared to 71,318 Tuesday morning. Eliminations decreased over twelve and four hours, while liquidations increased by one hour.
