SOL led the way, dropping 4.30%, with ADA and XRP seeing losses of 3.31% and 3.05%, respectively.
BNB (-0.48%), BTC (-1.04%), DOGE (-1.81%), and ETH (-1.99%) also suffered.
From CoinMarketCap above 100, it was a bearish session.
Aptos (APT) led the way to the downside, dropping by 14%, Casper (CSPR) and ethereum PoW (ETHW) seeing losses of 11.23% and 7.93%, respectively.
In contrast, terraclassicUSD (USTC) led the way, up 21.29%, and Trusted Wallet Tokens (TWT) and Uniswap (UNI) saw gains of 2.93% and 0.75%, respectively.
24-hour cryptocurrency liquidations tumbled despite bearish session
Over the 24-hour period, total liquidations declined as risk aversion tempered bets in a bullish session. At the time of writing, 24-hour liquidations are $49.74 million, down from $65.79 million Wednesday morning.
Traders liquidated in the last 24 hours remained stable. At the time of writing, the number of traders who had their accounts liquidated was 28,771 versus 28,711 on Wednesday morning. Liquidations increased over an hour and four hours, while they decreased over 12 hours.
