In a surprising turn of events, Logan Paul deleted his response video directed at the Coffeezilla chain on CryptoZoo, accusing the latter of spreading misinformation and even threatening to sue him.
From posting skits on Vine to taking to YouTube and even fighting in WWE, Logan Pauls has followed controversy and legal issues since he was a teenager. His rise to fame was messy. The social media star’s NFT project – Crypto Zoo – is no different. There is no denying that the project is in shambles.
After retracting Covizela’s allegations, Paul said he wanted to take responsibility, apologize, and come up with a plan for his NFT project in the near future.
Logan Paul’s apology
Popular internet investigator Coffeezilla, also known as Stephen Findeisen, has claimed that Paul’s Crypto Zoo project was a hoax on a three-part series.
As previously reported, Crypto Zoo launched in September 2021 with Paul as one of its founders. Prior to this, the 27-year-old Ohio native’s batch received a massive in-game frenzy, which allegedly allowed users to log passive income. Despite promising huge returns, Kovezilla said investors were left with big holes in their pockets.
Over a year later, no game has materialized. In the video, the investigator claims that developers abandoned CryptoZoo shortly after its 2021 launch, and Paul quietly distanced himself from the project after that.
After being silent for a few days, Paul responded with insults for “stirring up” the story. He defended himself by blaming two people currently under criminal investigation, who served as co-founders and advisors to CryptoZoo, as the real perpetrators of all the wrongdoing. Paul also addressed the controversy in a now-deleted episode of the “Impaulsive” podcast and vowed to drop a defamation lawsuit.
Less than a week later, he apologized to Coffeezilla. the Maildone on Discord server read,
“I will take responsibility, apologize and come up with a plan in the near future. Thank you all for believing in this project and agreeing with me. I was rushed and didn’t align with the real issue, so today I called him and apologized… War is not with coffee. I’m actually grateful he brought this up.” “.
Try suspicious crypto projects
This isn’t the first time Paul has gotten into hot water over a shady project. In fact, the social media celebrity has been accused of promoting a “shitcoin” called Dink Doink in July 2021.
Paul was the main marketing point for the project, parodying the popular animated show “South Park”. He dealt a huge blow after losing all his value.
