Finding a decent bathroom amid the chaos and Mardi Gras festivities can be challenging. But this year, when you have to go, at least one place in New Orleans will be happy to use theirs — if you have an NFT pass.
Many of the perks offered as part of the new Mardi Gras-themed NFT collection coming later this week from NieuxCo’s Web3 Venture studio in New Orleans include food and drink as well as access to special events, private parties, exclusive screenings, and restrooms along the parade route.

Non-fungible tokens, or NFTs, are digital collectibles that show proof of ownership of digital assets, including videos, music, memberships, and physical items.

Nieux says NFT holders will also be invited to workshops and have the opportunity to participate in other New Orleans-themed NFT pools. The NFT will also unlock augmented reality gameplay as collectors in town search for digital multipliers that unlock additional benefits.
