The FBI has seized $250,000 from crypto fraudsters that the chain expert had previously investigated

According to the official notice Posted by the FBI on February 4, Chase Senical’s luxury and cryptocurrency assets were again seized in October 2022 from Brunswick, Maine. The seized assets include an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch, valued at $41,000, and 86.5 Ethereum. [ETH] Its value is over $116,000 at the time of reservation. In a Twitter thread on February 3, expert ZachXBT claimed that his investigation of the Senecal fraud contributed to the FBI’s forfeiture. Chase Senecal, better known as Horror (HZ), allegedly took over several accounts using a Twitter board. Accounts include Zeneca, ezu_xyz, and deekaymotion, among several others.

A crypto scammer reportedly paid huge sums for unauthorized access to the Twitter accounts of famous crypto projects. He followed this up by directing payments to said project. Senecal’s identity was exposed after ZachXBT caught him bending a luxury watch that was seized by the FBI in October.
